I’m interested in getting into the Fanatec ecosystem and buying a few wheels. However, I’m wondering, would these wheels work on other wheel bases in the future? Like Asetek or Moza?

Fanatec wheels are not natively compatible with other wheelbases like Asetek or Moza because Fanatec uses a proprietary quick release and electronics system. To use a Fanatec wheel on a different base in the future, you would need a third party conversion such as a USB conversion kit and a compatible quick release adapter, which adds cost and some complexity. It is doable and many people do it successfully, but it removes the plug and play benefit and sometimes limits features like rev lights or displays depending on the adapter. If long term flexibility matters to you, open ecosystems like Moza, Simucube, or Asetek are generally easier to mix and match than Fanatec.
