Get either a Fanatec or the Logitech RS50 or a G Pro, if your budget can stretch. Avoid Moza, as they support only a few games on Xbox, and Thrustmaster, as they are still good but don’t have too many options for wheelbases
What pedals do you have? Some pedal types will be harder to trail brake compared to others. If it’s a decent set of Hall effect or load cells, then just set them to a decently hard setting, stomp on the brakes at your braking points, and ease off as you approach the apex

Definitely a new rig. I have the GT-Lite from NLR, with my T598, and it’s quite great
