Yes, closed ecosystem means you are only limited to their products. I think pedals and shifters are exempt from this, but actual wheel rims that connect to the base, you have to use a Thrustmaster rim. If you want the open ecosystem, then sell the Thrustmaster and get one of the bundles you were looking at 👍
Depends. Are you comfortable with the closed Thrustmaster ecosystem? Or do you want a more vast option of pedals, shifters, handbrakes, wheel rims, etc? With Moza, you can use wheels and pedals from other brands, as it’s an open ecosystem. It all comes down to how much upgradability you want with your setup
Why not Thrustmaster? They have the T598 bundles for about that price. Otherwise, you could look at the Fanatec CSL DD with any rim, and to lower the price, you could get it refurbished from Fanatec themselves, but I don’t know how good they are. Then there’s Moza, with the R5. That’s all that I can think of for now
I’m also on Xbox. Some good games, both on Game Pass and not on, are the original Assetto Corsa (Ultimate Edition goes on sale for $10, it’s quite great), or Assetto Corsa Competizione if you’re into GT racing instead, Forza Horizon 5 (with the right settings, it is actually pretty fun), maybe the rest of the Forza Horizon games, Wreckfest, the F1 games (avoid 22, 24, and 2015), EA WRC or Dirt Rally 2 (I prefer WRC but that’s my opinion), Grid Legends, and maybe NFS. That’s all the games that I can think of, that have wheel support. But some of these games can’t be played with certain wheels. Which one were you looking at?
What platform are you on? For the price of the G Pro, you could also find some other brands like Moza and Simagic for the same price. If on console, then it will be one of the strongest bases available, and it would be good to buy it over the RS50
Thrustmaster is supposed to release their new load cell brake pedal for the T598 pedals. I think it's called the Raceline pedals? But thanks for the suggestion!
Logitech doesn’t have the biggest ecosystem, so it really depends on if you want any accessories with it. It’s about the same price as some Fanatec bundles, and that brand has more features and add ons. But I have heard good things about the RS50

I’d probably go for the Moza. It just has a bigger ecosystem and PXN still has some reliability issues from what I’ve heard

I’ve had it for about a month. It works quite great. Haven’t run into problems yet

Gotta get the T598. More nm of torque, better ecosystem ON XBOX, supports almost all racing games, and the power supply issues are resolved now
