The brand-new racing title “iRacing Arcade” launched today. Developed by Original Fire Games in collaboration with iRacing, the game builds heavily on the foundations of Karting Superstars and Circuit Superstars, two previous titles by the same studio. Featuring similar visuals, art style, and gameplay mechanics, the new release introduces licensed tracks, cars, and racing series aimed at a broad audience.

iRacing Arcade generated interest across the racing community, from dedicated sim racers to casual players and even those outside the traditional motorsport scene. The concept blends circuit racing with stylized cars, colorful tracks, and light-hearted characters. Paired with accessible, arcade-style physics and intuitive gameplay, expectations were high for a fun and social racing experience.

Following today’s release, however, many early impressions have been mixed. A significant portion of players feel the game lacks sufficient content. At launch, only eight cars are available; just two of them are officially licensed, alongside a limited track selection.
Despite the criticism, the game has received praise in several areas. Many players report enjoyable driving physics, charming visuals, and intuitive controls. The core gameplay loop is described as engaging and entertaining.
Features such as car damage, tire wear, fuel consumption, and pit stops are considered well implemented, adding depth to the arcade experience. The soundtrack has also been positively received.

Criticism has also been directed at the game’s customization options, with players noting limited settings for graphics, controls, and HUD adjustments. Multiplayer functionality has drawn particular scrutiny: rather than offering public matchmaking, the game currently supports private lobbies via lobby codes only, with no quick-play option against random opponents.
Some reviews additionally highlight repetitive handling characteristics, claiming that the cars feel too similar to one another, an issue that was not widely associated with Circuit Superstars. At a launch price of 24.50€ (~US$28.46), many players question whether the overall package feels complete.

While iRacing Arcade shows promise and delivers enjoyable moments, a notable portion of the community believes the game lacks overall depth and polish at launch, particularly relative to its price point. Nevertheless, it represents an important step in expanding iRacing’s reach and attracting new audiences to racing games.
