On Valentine’s Day, SimLab shared a teaser across its social media channels featuring the silhouette of a race car alongside the headline, “A New Chapter Begins.” The image displayed the SimLab logo on the left, while the right side remained blank, presumably reserved for the yet-to-be-announced partner.
Although no official confirmation has been provided, the distinctive headlights shown in the teaser strongly resemble those of the Porsche 963 Hypercar. This visual cue makes it highly likely that the upcoming product is being developed in collaboration with Porsche. However, the exact nature of the product remains undisclosed.
Many comments under SimLab’s Instagram post speculate that the teaser points to a new steering wheel inspired by the Porsche 963 Hypercar.
SimLab already offers Porsche-branded products, including the 911 RSR steering wheel. However, an officially licensed 963 Hypercar steering wheel has not yet been introduced in the sim racing market. Such a release could generate significant interest within the community.
That said, SimLab’s product portfolio extends far beyond steering wheels. The company manufactures a wide range of sim racing equipment, including cockpits, seats, pedals, shifters, and accessories. While a steering wheel appears to be the most likely outcome, other possibilities cannot be ruled out. SimLab has previously collaborated with major motorsport brands on products such as the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Sim Racing seat, demonstrating their willingness to explore different product categories.
