It’s easy to think that better wheels, pedals, and rigs automatically mean faster lap times, but consistency and practice still matter more than gear alone. High-end hardware can improve feel and confidence, but driver skill and race craft are usually the biggest performance difference on track.
Yes, although that is true, some good gear will really help you with consistency, but also immersion
better gear is optimal, but it's not like you need a triple monitor setup and a 25 nm base, at least a cockpit with a built in monitor stand id say is a happy medium
Some things are more influential than others, and it definitely becomes a problem of diminishing returns after a certain points. Direct drive and loadcell pedals are however easy examples of things that can genuinely make you faster and or more consistent
