I have a decent entry cockpit right now but it is probably under too much stress with my simagic alpha mini and p1000 pedals. Is an aluminum profile worth the high price tag in this situation?
Yes, I recommend to order custom profiles and build the rig yourself. It usually is a bit cheaper than building a ready made rig - but still expensive.
but extrusion profiles give you much more options in the future for further extensions of the rig. And it’s just so sturdy

It depends, i don’t think that the more expensive one are worth it, they are all built in Alluminum in the end.
I’d say go for it, becare you need stiffness with your hardware, but don’t go for the top priced
