I’ve been searching for a wheel since few months. recently i came across the Thrust master t248r that has been released a few weeks back. wanted to know if it’s worth spending a few extra bucks on the Moza r3 or go with the Thrustmaster t248r.
Pick the MOZA R3 if:
-You want the most immersive, realistic force feedback at this price (direct drive, 3.9Nm)
-You’re on PC or Xbox.
-You see yourself growing into sim racing and maybe upgrading further later.
-You want a better quality of the materials (the moza r3 have aluminium housing, high-strength steel pedals and a good 280mm Ergonomic Racing wheel)
Pick the Thrustmaster T248R if:
-You’re on PlayStation
-You want something more plug-and-play with easy setup and included features like an LCD panel.
-You’re casual to mid-level racer and don’t need the deep realism of direct drive yet.
-You don't mind the plastic of the steering wheel and pedals
Moza isn't good for Xbox, and I'm tired of people saying that. Check the Xbox game compatibility list to see what I mean
