I’m not sure if the Moza R5 bundle is worth it. In my country it costs 125 USD more than the R3 bundle. Is this surcharge reasonable?

The MOZA R3 is a great option because it is a direct-drive wheel, especially compared to something like the Logitech G29. I have tested both 3 Nm and 5 Nm of torque, and there is a noticeable difference between them.
For serious racing, the 5 Nm offered by the MOZA R5 is clearly better, as it provides stronger and more detailed force feedback, which becomes especially important during longer and more intense sessions. For cruising or casual driving, the 5 Nm is still nicer to have, but 3 Nm is more than sufficient and already delivers a solid and enjoyable experience.
That said, this is just my personal opinion. If you do not have the extra $120 to spend, the MOZA R3 remains a very good choice and offers excellent value for money, but if you got it, go for the r5.
I am dealing with the same question if the R5 or the R3... the price difference is notable, just do not know, if this ,,hobby´´ will stick to me (of course it will just being careful) :D
To make things even less clear, the R3 is actually 3.9Nm and the R5 is 5.5Nm. I've never used the R5, but for me personally, the small jump from essentially 4Nm to 5.5 wasn't worth the $125 price difference. But everyone is different. If you have any doubts on if it's worth it, go for the R3 bundle, play on it for a year and decide if you want to upgrade, and if you do, the R9 is an easy upgrade.
If you can afford it, go for the R5. The R3 is great, but you will be left desiring more in a very short time span. The R5 does not just come with the extra torque, but it come with a larger clipping range, a better feel for the road and just much more pleasure in general. I started with a T300 and tested out the R5 which was amazing. I eventually ended up going for the R12 to future proof, but definitely the R5 is better in every way.
