PXN’s ecosystem is still fairly limited when it comes to official wheel rims, and that is one of its main drawbacks right now. Some third party rims can physically bolt onto PXN wheelbases because PXN uses fairly standard bolt patterns on certain hubs, but that does not mean they work electronically without extra hardware. Most GT style rims from other brands will either need a USB conversion for buttons and encoders or will function as a bare rim with no inputs at all. There is no true plug and play third party GT rim that fully integrates with PXN at the moment, so while you can mount a GT style rim for the look and driving feel, you should expect compromises in button functionality unless PXN expands its own lineup or releases a more open hub solution.
However, I do have a few wheels from PXN here for review right now, so keep an eye out.
