My rig is all diy except for the hardware. I can’t upload a photo rn but I’ll explain as best as possible.
It started off with an r3 on a desk.
my grandpa is a high up construction worker so he helped me build an extremely sturdy wooden rig.
it works amazing and doesn’t flex at all
im Using a 40 inch tv and it’s quite immersive. I also added a roof and door using some foam boards and pvc pipes.
i have a usb handbrake and a th8s shifter
i have the add on brake kit, clutch and es formula mod for the r3. And I bought another quick release and aftermarket rim for drifting.
in total it’s cost me around $1250 and it was totally worth it.
if you can’t afford a Alu rig that’s good quality, I recommend spending 200-300$ on wood and building a really sturdy wooden rig.
I’ll try and upload a pic soon
