Wanted to Start Cheap and Fast and get used to Direct Drive.
Exclusively on Xbox playing MyTeam in F1 25.
Rig: Playseat Challenge Actifit folding.
Wheel. PXN V10 Ultra 3.2nm Direct Drive with a Spring Brake Pedal.
Additional Ecannon Racing F1 Wheel Mod – Double Clutch and Flappy Padels.
I have also bought some (PUMAxBMW affiliate racing) shoes and gloves just for the racing.
I made a 🍻 holder on the Rig. (See last pic)
Total Paid exactly 5,000 Norwegian Krones
USD around 533$. All were brand new.

In the near Future I am considering a Fanatec CSL DD with the GT3 Wheel. I believe I will never need anything more than the 5nm or 8nm of torque on wheelbase.
After a month of F1 25 I am 2.5-3.5 seconds of world record pace on average vs the “Aliens” so fresh into my setup.
Reliability so far. Complete 0 issues. I have also dropped the rig twice with the wheel mounted and it survived. I am folding it and putting it away each play session.
My longest runtime on the wheel was around 5 hours. No overheating issues at all.
There is a Phone app for the wheel. Extremely easy to use. Not only you can change the wheel rotation in any configuration 360°F1. 540°Rally 900°GT or 1080°All Cars but the brake and Throttle pedals can be edited in its biting point and accelerator curve by a click. Bluetooth connection always work. Setup takes seconds. Plus the double Clutch can be edited duel or individual also either as a Button or Travel biting point.

I need the wheelbase to run throught the Xbox Controller to use it. (Licencing issues with Microsoft/Xbox)
Wired Headphones DO NOT work when connected to the Xbox controller which runs the Wheelbase link.
I need a 2nd xbox controller to have actual sound.
Or use a wireless headset instead.
I hope by end of 2026 we SimRacers get an IndiCar full game release for all platforms and i hope it steals some F1 community of “Aliens” to have some fun.
