for the seat: you can either get any bucket seat you like usually in the 300 dollar price range or just get a junkyard car seat for basically free as a placeholder until you want to upgrade it - 300 or basically free

depending on which option you chose for the seat you can splurge more on the rest of the peripherals

if you choose the free seat for pedals i would go for the simlab xp1 - 500

if you choose the bucket seat i would choose simagic p700 - 200

for the wheelbase and wheel i would go for the moza r9 with ks bundle - 550

as for the monitor i would recommend looking around and finding the best value 27 inch 1440p monitor, im not too versed in monitors so i cant really give any recommendations, ive been using an iiyama for 3 years now and its been fine

Hey thank you! I forgot to mention im looking at the Marada 8040 since it comes with a seat around $475, seems like a good deal but im sure theres some drawbacks that i am just not framiliar with

the frame is definitely the most important part so i wouldnt cheap out on that

and the seat that one comes with seems like something you can substitute with a generic car seat for basically free without losing out on the experience

I also have checked out those xp1 pedals before but they are sold out everywhere. not sure if they are just backordered or if they stopped making them.

I have also heard the heusinkveld style copies from simsonn are pretty good, that would save me like 250 if i went with those.

I wish i had a microcenter near me. I believe closest one is like 6 hrs away and they do not ship them. I might go with the Moza load cell pedals as well, im not sure if there is a benefit to staying in the ecosystem

staying in the ecosystem doesnt have any benefits on pc apart from cable management

and even if you keep to one ecosystem your rig will most likely look like a spider web of usb cables

fair, i did a good job with cable management for my current setup but Im guessing its about to go off the rails lol

if you can extend your budget by like a hundred bucks the vrs dfp pro pedals are basically the greatest set of analog pedals on the market

american brand too so shipping should be fine

do you know if I would be able to only buy the break and throttle, then get a third party clutch? i dont see the need to buy a $200 clutch
