The MOZA R3 Racing Bundle (PC only) offers an entry-level, desk-friendly gateway into direct-drive racing, currently holding steady at $275.88 at MOZA Racing JP. Meanwhile, the Asetek Racing Bundle II (EU) is a complete, modular cockpit solution designed for serious expansion.
The MOZA R3 wheelbase is known to run quite hot, which can lead to thermal throttling and force feedback fade during long endurance sessions. Additionally, the included SR-P Lite pedals lack brake resistance and are prone to sliding or flexing, while the Pit House app suffers from occasional language and firmware bugs.
At launch, Asetek locks wheelbase compatibility strictly to the Initium steering wheel, and users report occasional calibration bugs in RaceHub. However, the system offers an excellent upgrade path within its own ecosystem to an 8 Nm wheelbase and load-cell or hydraulic pedals.
If you are tight on space and want a simple desk setup, the MOZA R3 is a decent entry point despite its thermal limitations and weak pedals. However, for a complete, powerful, and highly upgradeable racing rig, the Asetek Racing Bundle II (EU) is the far superior investment.
