Sim racing · head‑to‑head
We are looking at two entirely different upgrades: one targets the mechanical feel of your entry-level pedals, while the other provides raw structural utility for your rig. Choosing between them depends entirely on whether you need to fix a mushy brake pedal or expand your aluminum cockpit.
The MOZA kit can feel too stiff for desk setups, causing chairs to slide, and it often squeaks over time. Meanwhile, the Trak Racer profiles suffer from poor packaging, easily scratched anodizing, and rough, un-sanded edges.
The MOZA kit does not convert your pedals to a load cell; it remains a position-based Hall effect sensor. The Trak Racer profiles are highly compatible, fitting most standard 8020 and T-slot rigs.
If you own MOZA SR-P Lite pedals and want a more progressive brake feel without buying a whole new pedal set, the Performance Kit is a logical upgrade. However, if you are expanding your rig, the Trak Racer extrusion profiles offer excellent structural rigidity despite some minor finish and packaging flaws.
