Sim racing · head‑to‑head
We are looking at two entirely different upgrades for your cockpit: a budget-friendly audio mounting solution and a high-end, premium command station. One secures your sound stage for the price of a lunch, while the other centralizes your PC controls with industrial-grade inputs.
The Bavarian Sim Tec Control Center launched with incomplete software, though recent updates have introduced the PitStopApp and DNR support. Additionally, some drivers find the rotation resistance on the AdaptiveBeamTec multi-encoders to be quite heavy.
If you are mounting the Trak Racer kit to a standard aluminum profile rig instead of the FS3 wheel stand, you must source your own 6mm T-nuts. Also, flipping the center channel mount upside down is an excellent way to tuck your speaker neatly under a monitor.
If you need to mount rear-threaded speakers to your profile rig without any vibration, the Trak Racer kit is a no-brainer budget add-on. However, if you want a high-end tactile command center to manage PC inputs and clean up USB cables, the Bavarian Sim Tec unit is a premium, albeit expensive, powerhouse.
