While both of these Trak Racer upgrades expand your rig's capabilities, they target entirely different upgrades. One brings immersive surround sound to your frame on a budget, while the other transforms your tube-frame racing cockpit into a dual-purpose flight deck.
The flight mount suffers from hole alignment issues during assembly and causes flight sticks to rattle if haptic transducers are mounted nearby. Meanwhile, the speaker kit requires you to source your own 6mm T-nuts if you are mounting it to an aluminum profile rig instead of the FS3 stand.
Both kits require some patience during installation, as alignment and mounting hardware quirks can slow down your assembly process.
If you want to add surround sound to your rig, the speaker kit is an incredibly cheap and stable upgrade despite some tedious T-nut adjustments. However, if you are looking to split time between driving and flying, the flight sim mount offers great rigidity but demands patience during assembly and pedal swaps.
