Invicta Wheelbase + 3x Universal Quick Release AdaptersvsMOZA R12 V2/CS/CRP2 Bundle

The Bottom Line

Choosing between these two setups is a choice between building an uncompromising, ultra-premium direct drive foundation or buying a complete, ready-to-race mid-range ecosystem. The Asetek Invicta offers raw, top-tier power for custom setups, while the MOZA R12 V2 Bundle delivers a highly capable, all-in-one package.

Watch out

Asetek had a known batch of power supplies that suffered from a Low Voltage Error under high loads, though their customer support quickly replaces them. Meanwhile, the MOZA R12 V2 casing still gets very hot to the touch during long sessions, and the heavy CS wheel can slightly dampen its force feedback detail.

Note

The MOZA CRP2 pedals feature high brake resistance and must be bolted to a sturdy rig to prevent flipping. Additionally, the stock throttle pedal face is short, so you may want to consider MOZA's official longer throttle plate upgrade for better comfort.

Why choose Invicta Wheelbase + 3x Universal Quick Release Adapters

9.0
Overall Score
  • It delivers a massive 27 Nm of base torque compared to MOZA's 12 Nm, providing exceptionally smooth, fast, and highly detailed force feedback.
  • The quick release system features a convenient cable-free USB pass-through for third-party wheels, though its tight tolerances can sometimes require two hands to detach.

Why choose MOZA R12 V2/CS/CRP2 Bundle

8.5
Overall Score
  • This complete bundle includes two pedals, whereas the Invicta wheelbase package does not come with any pedals.
  • It features a precise 200kg load cell brake with tool-less elastomer swapping, a major hardware advantage not included in the standalone Invicta package.

The Verdict

If you want the ultimate direct drive foundation and plan to run high-end third-party wheels, the 27 Nm Asetek Invicta is the superior powerhouse. However, for a complete, ready-to-race setup out of the box, the MOZA R12 V2 Bundle offers incredible value at $997.00 with its excellent load cell pedals and solid mid-range performance.
