Sim racing · head‑to‑head
We are looking at two highly specific, budget-friendly ecosystem add-ons designed to solve very different hardware limitations. While one aims to fix the mushy feel of entry-level pedals, the other expands the shifting options of a dedicated gate shifter.
The MOZA kit can cause unsecured desk chairs to slide and pedal bases to tilt. Meanwhile, the VNM plate lacks a physical reverse lockout, which can lead to accidental shifts into reverse during fast gear changes.
This kit does not convert your pedal to a load cell, as it remains a position-based Hall effect sensor. If you want a true load cell experience, you should upgrade within the MOZA ecosystem to the full SR-P pedals.
At $44.94, the MOZA kit is up 45.6% over the last 90 days from its typical $38.16 price, but it remains a solid upgrade. The VNM plate remains flat at $6.95, making it a very cheap but flawed add-on.
