The MOZA R3 is a great option because it is a direct-drive wheel, especially compared to something like the Logitech G29. I have tested both 3 Nm and 5 Nm of torque, and there is a noticeable difference between them.
For serious racing, the 5 Nm offered by the MOZA R5 is clearly better, as it provides stronger and more detailed force feedback, which becomes especially important during longer and more intense sessions. For cruising or casual driving, the 5 Nm is still nicer to have, but 3 Nm is more than sufficient and already delivers a solid and enjoyable experience.
That said, this is just my personal opinion. If you do not have the extra $120 to spend, the MOZA R3 remains a very good choice and offers excellent value for money, but if you got it, go for the r5.
