Its not bad apart from the playseat, 500 for one of those is a complete ripoff in my opinion, you can get an aluminium profile rig for basically the same price and it will have more adjustability, rigidity and you wont have to upgrade it ever again. The fanatec peripherals are alright but you should definitely take a look at some of the bundles moza and simagic have to offer too as those brands seem to have a better reputation recently compared to fanatec.

Really I don’t know. I thought fantasy was better because they had better wheels and better upgrades later on for console.

for now fanatec is the best option for playstation but moza is releasing something soon

Yeah, I think I heard that I might get a Sim in like a year or a couple months from now

yeah i would wait and see what steering wheels get released until then, as for the rest of the rig no real innovation is likely to come

If you would know any aluminum rig , I’ll be appreciated cause I’m not buying a SIM set up just yet. I still have to get a job and make money.

I was thinking about spending 1500$ for a setup including the comp if any of you guys know different set ups that are good for intermediate level it would be nice thank you

0

i cant really help you with the computer itself as i am not too versed in them but if you could tell me a budget that you would spend on only the simulator stuff i could try to come up with a decent combo for you

0

also, what is it that you want out of the rig, what kind of driving do you wanna do

0

I play gt7 the crew moto fest

This is for later on when I get a job I probably stay on ps5 for now because I have all my cars on the games and data on the game

0

Alright, since its later i would recommend you wait to see what mozas new ps5 bundle will be because they have announced it recently. As for the rest of the rig i would recommend a generic aluminium profile rig (for example: simlab gt1 evo or an asr3) and depending on what you would like you can either just get a seat from a regular road car for cheap and mount it to the rig or buy a bucket seat. Some brands with nice but still lower price range bucket seats include gtomega, trak racer and many more, anything works really as long as its comfortable.

But my probe is 1500$ for now and if I need to spend more I will

The place trophy cause I don’t have that much room in my space, but I can move around some stuff to make space and I’ll look into some better sim rigs that are good

0

for a reference i have a simlab gt1 evo and it has a footprint of like 1.4m by 0.6m, doesnt take up much space

Ok thx

do you know any good SIM rigs for having a TV or should I just get a monitor instead?

0

I prefer a monitor because they have higher refresh rates and its just more suited for the hobby imo but if you wanna use a tv you can just get a separate tv stand for it
