Three New Cars Join the Roster

The latest update adds three distinct vehicles, each offering a different driving experience.

Leading the additions is the Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (964) ‘93, available through the Legend Cars dealership.

Alongside it, the Renault Twingo ‘93 arrives in the Used Cars dealership. The compact city car brings a more casual and nostalgic driving option to the game.

Completing the lineup is the Yangwang U9 ‘24, which can be found in Brand Central. The U9 expands the game’s growing selection of high-performance electric vehicles.

New Events Added to World Circuits

World Circuits sees an expansion with several new events across different tracks.

Autódromo de Interlagos now features the Touring Car World Cup 900, Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve introduces the Schwarzwald League, while Yas Marina Circuit hosts the newly added Hypersportwagen Parade.

Track Experience has also been expanded with the Nürburgring Endurance Layout II.

Yangwang Brand Added to Brand Central

Brand Central has been updated with the inclusion of Yangwang in the Asia-Pacific section following the introduction of the U9 hypercar.

Café Expands with New Content and Season Feature

The Gran Turismo 7 Café continues to grow with the introduction of Extra Menu No. 53, focusing on Muscle Cars. This menu becomes available at Collector Level 55.

New conversations have also been added, including interactions with designer Fabio Filippini and Café character Stella. These are tied to the newly introduced vehicles and help expand the contextual storytelling within the Café.

One of the more notable additions is the new Season Menu feature. This system allows players to collect specific cars within a given season to earn additional rewards. The feature unlocks after completing Menu Book 39, the World GT Series championship, and adds another layer to progression.

More Engine Swap Options Available

Engine swaps have been expanded further, now covering a wider range of vehicles. This feature becomes available at Collector Level 50 and continues to grow with each update.

Newly supported cars include models such as the Lexus LFA ‘10, McLaren 650S ‘14, and several Renault vehicles. The newly added Porsche 911 Turbo S ‘93 and Renault Twingo ‘93 are also included in the updated swap list.

Scapes Update Adds New Photography Options

Scapes receives a smaller update with the addition of a new featured curation titled “Move Camera Up and Down III.”

Power Pack DLC Introduces New Mode

A major addition arrives in the form of the Power Pack DLC. This paid content is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 version of Gran Turismo 7 and introduces a new challenge-based mode.

The mode revolves around completing as many races as possible within a set time, with rewards scaling based on performance. It adds a more time-focused gameplay loop, offering a different structure compared to traditional events.

The update also improves flexibility within the mode by allowing players to use cars from their own garage. Adjustments to difficulty and race start types have also been made to create a more balanced experience.

Additional Improvements and Fixes

Beyond new content, the update includes a range of smaller refinements and fixes.

The Mazda ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) ‘91 has received updated interior and exterior details, while the NISMO 400R ‘95 benefits from visual tweaks and improved camera positioning in the livery editor.

Physics adjustments have also been applied, specifically targeting the behavior of the engine power restrictor in select Vision Gran Turismo and concept cars.

As expected, the update also includes localization improvements and general bug fixes.

With ongoing updates like this, Gran Turismo 7 maintains a steady flow of content that keeps both casual players and dedicated fans engaged.
