After years of expectation, the ClubSport Formula V3 is now here. The first impression is immediately clear. The design follows a very familiar direction.
The wheel closely resembles the previous Formula V2.5, keeping a similar shape and overall layout. Fanatec has chosen to build on an established platform instead of pushing into a completely new design.
This direction focuses on refinement. The Formula V3 improves the existing concept with a more polished finish and updated internals while keeping the core experience intact.
That approach will split opinions. The wheel is clearly more refined and better built. At the same time, expectations for something more ambitious after such a long wait were high. What arrives instead is a continuation of a proven formula with incremental improvements.

Alongside the new wheel, Fanatec has introduced the Podium Pedals. These are available in two configurations.
The standard 3-pedal set is priced at €699.95 and is expected to begin shipping in July 2026, with preorders opening soon.
The construction combines diecast and CNC-machined aluminum, placing a strong emphasis on durability. The throttle and clutch pedals use custom Hall sensors, factory calibrated for accuracy and consistency.
Adjustability is a key focus. Users can fine-tune travel and preload without tools, making quick setup changes straightforward.
The brake system is the standout feature. It uses a forged aluminum design paired with a load cell rated above 200 kg. At the pedal plate, it supports forces up to 150 kg. The system relies on a patented elastomer compression setup, allowing detailed tuning of pedal feel. Optional linear springs are included for users who prefer a different response.
The clutch introduces a bite point slider, giving control over the resistance peak. This allows a more realistic simulation of clutch engagement.

The Formula version is designed for a more focused use case. It removes the clutch and shifts towards a layout better suited for formula-style driving.
Carbon fiber heel rests and pedal plates define the design. Grip tape is included to improve stability under heavy braking.
Performance remains consistent with the 3-pedal set. The throttle uses the same Hall sensor system, while the brake retains the high-capacity load cell and elastomer-based tuning options.

Both pedal sets integrate into the Fanatec software ecosystem. Users can adjust pedal curves, dead zones, and input behavior through the Fanatec App.
Settings can be saved directly to the hardware. This allows configurations to remain active across different platforms, including consoles. Profiles can also be switched through the tuning menu.
An optional pedal plate is available, supporting the standard Fanatec mounting pattern for broader compatibility.
With the ClubSport Formula V3 and Podium Pedals, Fanatec continues to evolve its ecosystem through refinement.
The pedals deliver clear upgrades in adjustability, braking performance, and build quality. The wheel strengthens an already established design with incremental improvements.
For users expecting a major shift in design direction, the Formula V3 may feel conservative. For others, the focus on improving a familiar platform will be a positive step.
Fanatec’s latest release builds on what already works, with the biggest gains found in the new pedal lineup.
