The biggest addition in Update 0.5 is the arrival of Online Multiplayer Phase One.

Hosts can customize sessions by restricting vehicle selections to:
Weather settings can also be freely selected when creating a lobby.
Players joining ongoing sessions are able to spectate live races and follow results while lobby hosts can modify track and weather settings between events.
Developer Supernova has also introduced persistent official ACR multiplayer lobbies.
These community-focused servers remain permanently available and automatically scale through multiple active instances to ensure open slots remain available.
The launch event schedule includes:

Assetto Corsa Rally now introduces an upgraded ideal line system.

With multiplayer finally arriving and major improvements across almost every area of the simulation, Update 0.5 marks one of the most significant steps forward for Assetto Corsa Rally since entering Early Access.

With multiplayer finally making its debut and extensive improvements across physics, handling, visuals, and gameplay systems, Update 0.5 represents a major milestone for Assetto Corsa Rally’s Early Access journey.
While the multiplayer component is still launching in its first phase and currently focuses on single-stage events, it lays an important foundation for future expansions. Combined with the new Greece location and the substantial tire and surface simulation overhaul, the update shows Supernova’s continued focus on realism and long-term development.
For rally fans already invested in Assetto Corsa Rally, Update 0.5 delivers far more than new content, it fundamentally changes how the game feels behind the wheel.
