Moza CS Pro Wheel Review: A Feature-Packed GT Wheel at an Unexpected Price

It is a new year, and Moza has started it off aggressively by releasing three brand new wheels at the same time. One of those is the CS Pro, a round GT-style wheel that immediately caught my attention thanks to its feature set, modular design, and surprisingly aggressive pricing.

At just $330, this wheel undercuts a lot of competitors while still offering a built-in screen, extensive inputs, and compatibility options that you do not usually see at this price point. After spending a good amount of time using it on track, I can confidently say this is one of the more interesting GT wheels Moza has released so far.

Design and First Impressions

The Moza CS Pro is a proper round wheel with a 330mm diameter, making it suitable for a wide range of driving disciplines including GT racing, endurance, drifting, rally, and even road cars.

The rim is wrapped in synthetic leather with clean stitching and a yellow center stripe at the top. Visually, the wheel takes inspiration from real-world GT wheels, and there are clear design cues that resemble high-end performance cars. Whether that inspiration was intentional or not is unclear, but the result is a wheel that looks purposeful and familiar.

The wheel housing is made from a carbon-reinforced plastic composite with a forged carbon look. While it is not real carbon fiber, it looks convincing in person and helps keep the overall weight down.

Inputs and Functionality

Moza clearly focused on maximizing functionality with the CS Pro.

On the front of the wheel, you get two thumb encoders, two multi-position switches, eight face buttons, and four rotary encoders. All rotary encoders feature lighting effects, and the buttons are fully backlit and customizable.

Moza also includes a sticker sheet, allowing you to label every input exactly how you want. This is a small detail, but it adds a lot of usability, especially for longer races.

Two additional buttons are placed on the rear of the wheel above the paddle shifters, adding even more flexibility for binding less frequently used functions.

Paddle Shifters and Rear Hardware

The CS Pro comes standard with magnetic paddle shifters made from forged carbon composite. The paddles have a sharp, clicky engagement that feels satisfying in use and works well across all types of driving.

For those who want more, Moza offers an optional add-on that adds a third row of paddles above the main shifters. This opens up additional clutch or function options for advanced users.

At the rear, you will also find Moza’s quick release system. It continues to be one of the strongest parts of Moza’s ecosystem, allowing quick wheel swaps with no flex and a secure connection.

Modularity and Compatibility

One of the most impressive features of the CS Pro is its modular design.

With Moza’s universal hub, this wheel can be used with third-party wheelbases. On top of that, the entire button module can be removed from the rim. It uses a standard mounting pattern, meaning you can attach it to third-party wheel rims if they physically fit.

This level of flexibility is rare at this price point and makes the CS Pro a very appealing option for users who like to customize their setup or mix hardware ecosystems.

Ergonomics and Comfort

In hand, the CS Pro feels solid and comfortable. The leather-wrapped rim provides a good balance between grip and comfort, even during longer sessions.

Moza added subtle finger indents on the rear of the rim, which helps naturally guide your hands into a comfortable position. Ergonomically, most inputs are within easy reach despite the wheel being packed with controls.

The thumb encoders, rotary dials, and switches are logically placed, and I rarely found myself stretching or adjusting my grip to reach something.

Built-In Screen and Lighting

One of the standout features of the CS Pro is the integrated 3-inch screen. Seeing a screen at this price point is impressive, even if it is not SimHub compatible.

The display can be customized through Moza Pit House software and provides useful telemetry information. Clarity is good, there is no noticeable lag, and while it may not replace a dedicated dash, it is genuinely useful during racing.

In addition to the screen, the wheel features telemetry lights and fully customizable button backlighting, which adds to both immersion and usability.

On-Track Performance

On track, the CS Pro performs well across a wide range of scenarios.

The wheel remains stable during normal driving, and while it is possible to flex the rim slightly if you apply force in an unnatural way, this is not something you would realistically encounter during racing.

The paddle shifters remain consistent and responsive, and all inputs registered reliably throughout my testing.

Something worth noting is that some inputs, such as the buttons and thumb encoders, are plastic. They work well and feel clicky, but they do not have the same premium feel as metal components. This is clearly one of the compromises made to hit the $330 price point.

Another small issue is that, when you push on the outer edges, the wheel can show some flex. This is hwoever not something you will notice when driving, and does not change the general feeling of quality.

That said, the overall experience remains very positive, and the wheel never felt cheap in actual use.

Value and Final Thoughts

For $330, the Moza CS Pro offers a tremendous amount of functionality.

You get a large 330mm round rim, extensive inputs, a built-in screen, customizable lighting, modular compatibility, and Moza’s excellent quick release system. While some materials are clearly chosen to control costs, the overall package feels well thought out and balanced.

If you are looking for a versatile round wheel that works across many racing disciplines and offers room to grow, the CS Pro is very easy to recommend.

It has quickly become one of the round wheels I reach for most often, and that says a lot. Moza has done a strong job here, and the CS Pro stands out as one of the better value GT-style wheels currently available.

  56. I love how everyone is coming out with a hub/rim ecosystem. I love the mix and match/fine tuning.

  57. I didn’t think I’d buy into the Moza ecosystem and would go for simagic, but with the new wheels and very competitive R21/25 pricing I am starting to shift back towards it, this is (hopefully) a great driving force to lower prices across the board in sim racing which I am all for.

  79. It sucks it doesn’t come wrapped in real leather especiallly at this price but overall an amzing looking wheel

  80. Moza is simply doing an incredible job; they’ve built a huge ecosystem with plenty of variety for all tastes, faster than many established brands.

    Congratulations to them, excellent work!

  81. This steering wheel already looks sick, and the price? Insanely cheap, even with a display. I think im gonna buy it anytime soon.

  82. it is sick

  83. This is an awesome addition! Moza rocks🔥

  84. The aesthetics are so nice. However I’d like to point out that even the Moza CS V2P wheel is not super comfortable for Rally and Drift titles due to lack of space for your fingers when you release the wheel while in drift and then try to catch, it simply hits your hands so hard especially after I’ve upgrade from R12 to R21 Ultra base. This new wheel seem to have even less free space for the fingers in between the wheel and all the button/display panels 😭

    It looks amazing though!

  85. Amazing review.

  86. Just received my CS Pro and the display is dirty from the inside out of the box. I hope I can get this resolved with their support. Really frustrated because shipping takes a good while.

  87. Cant wait to get mine

  88. Just bought this wheel, can’t wait for it to arrive!

  89. Just ordered, cant wait to finally get to play with this wheel

  90. Just ordered, cant wait to finally get to play with this wheel
