Not because it’s copying them, but because it plays in that same “serious GT wheel without going fully boutique” lane. What You Get: Specs and Layout

At 300 mm, the KS Pro is a sensible GT diameter, and it feels like Moza took that size constraint as a challenge. The face of this wheel is packed:

Even more impressive is that it still looks good. A lot of feature-heavy wheels turn into a cluttered control panel, but the KS Pro stays fairly balanced visually. The lighting helps too, because you can quickly see what you’re touching, and the rotary illumination is genuinely useful for highlighting which setting you’re currently in.

The Screen and Moza’s Dashboard Software

Moza managed to add a screen on top of an already crowded face, and it’s a nice touch to have here. It’s small, similar in spirit to what you see on wheels like the Conspit 300GT, but it adds a modern feel and helps the KS Pro look like a more premium product than the original KS.

That said, the screen’s usefulness depends on what you expected going in. Right now it’s not compatible with SimHub. Instead, it runs through Moza’s own Sim Dashboard system. You get presets, plus the option to configure your own dash layout within Moza’s ecosystem. For some people, that’s perfectly fine. For others, SimHub support is the real deal-breaker, because SimHub is still the main reason most of us use wheel displays in the first place.

On the customization side, Moza does a good job. You can adjust the colors and lighting effects for the backlit buttons, and they include a sticker sheet for labeling. Between lighting control and labeling, there’s no lack of personalization, and it helps a lot if you run different sims or swap between GT, endurance, and rally-style mappings.

Build Quality: Strong Where It Matters, Cheap Where You’d Expect

For the price, the KS Pro is built the way I would want a $330 wheel to be built. It focuses on rigidity, comfort, and overall functionality first. There are also some obvious cost-cutting choices, and it’s important to call those out.

The buttons, switches, and encoders use plastic, and you can feel it. They don’t feel “premium” in the way higher-end wheels do, and some of the tactility is lost because of it. This is one of the main areas where the wheel reminds you of its price bracket.

The housing also looks like forged carbon fiber at first glance, but it’s not. Moza calls it a carbon-reinforced material, and to me it feels like injection-molded plastic with reinforcement mixed in. I don’t think that’s automatically a negative, because it likely helps keep weight down, and lower weight absolutely pays dividends in driving feel and responsiveness, especially on smaller direct drive bases.

What matters more is whether it flexes or feels flimsy, and in my experience it doesn’t. Even when I intentionally tried to force movement, I couldn’t feel any notable flex. The wheel feels rock solid in use, and that’s genuinely impressive for this category.

Steering Grips & Quick Release

Comfort is one of the biggest reasons the original KS stayed on my easy recommendation list for so long, and the KS Pro keeps that strength. The grips are made from a soft rubber material, and the shape is very well molded. It sits naturally in the palms, it doesn’t create hot spots, and it stays comfortable even in longer sessions.

Grip shape is one of those things that’s hard to describe on paper, but you feel it immediately when a wheel gets it right. The KS Pro does. It’s comfortable in a way that makes you want to keep driving, which sounds simple, but that’s honestly a huge part of why certain wheels become favorites.

Moza’s quick release system continues to be a strong point. The connection feels solid, and it contributes to that no-flex sensation when you’re pushing hard or catching slides. The KS Pro also supports use on third-party wheelbases, but with an important condition: you need the Moza Universal Hub kit.

That matters, because it opens this wheel up beyond Moza-only owners, which is a big selling point in this price range. Wheels like the Conspit 300GT and Simagic GT Neo are often discussed outside of their native ecosystems, and the KS Pro now plays that same game, as long as you’re willing to add the hub into your setup plan.

Paddle Shifters & On-Track Performance

On the back, you have the paddle module with magnetic shifters and clutch paddles underneath. Visually, it’s a great setup. The paddles look sharp, and the carbon styling gives it a more premium vibe.

In terms of shifting feel though, I’m a bit split. The shifters are definitely clicky and loud, but they’re not as tactile as I would personally like. It feels more like a loud magnetic clack that gets the job done, rather than a crisp, mechanical snap that makes every shift feel satisfying.

The clutch paddles underneath are better. They have a good amount of resistance and enough travel to feel controllable. If you use dual-clutch launches or like having clutch paddles mapped for starts, I think these are solid.

Out on track, the KS Pro is exactly what I wanted it to be: comfortable, stable, and loaded with controls. The low weight and solid construction help keep it responsive, and the quick release connection keeps everything tight. When you combine that with the amount of mappable inputs, it becomes a wheel that adapts to basically any sim you throw at it.

The only real experience drawbacks come back to two things. First, the plastic feel on the front controls. Second, the screen ecosystem. If you were hoping for SimHub support today, you’re not getting it. If you’re fine using Moza’s dashboard approach and you want a clean integrated experience, then it’s a non-issue.
